I'd like to volunteer for Neighbour Net. What do I have to do?
Just drop into the centre at 1047 Colombo St - St Albans Community Resource Centre and ask for Alison

What's koha and how much should I pay?
Koha is a maori word for donation. While the coffee might be free, we need to charge for black/white and color printing or use of internet. Our charges however are lower than other places.

Do you have broadband or dial-up internet?
Yes, we have broadband internet, which is faster than dial-up.

Computers to giveaway; what's this?
It is the Neighbour Net computer recycling scheme and is working very well. People donate unwanted computers and they are available for people free of charge. They are generally older type computers, but most have email facility and it is a good way to start the information technology learning curve. Users often get hooked, buy a later model and give these computers back for another person to use Get into the system - either by donating your old computer, or putting yourself on our list to get one. Ph Alison on 379 6305.
